In what's become a running theme this season, Southeastern Local gave their fans yet another huge victory on Wednesday. They claimed a resounding 59-27 victory over Madison Plains at home. Given Southeastern Local's advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 185th, while Madison Plains is ranked 598th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Greenon has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matches, which provided a massive bump to their 11-6 record this season. As for Southeastern Local, their win bumped their record up to 13-2.
Greenon and Southeastern Local were neck-and-neck when the teams last played back in December of 2023, but Greenon came up empty-handed after a 37-36 defeat.
