Valley won against Cordova last Monday with two goals and they decided to stick to that goal total again on Wednesday. Valley didn't even let Cordova onto the board and left with a 2-0 victory. Winning may never get old, but Valley sure is getting used to it with their third in a row.
They were led to victory by the tag-team duo of
Jose Aguirre and
Octavio Mendoza, who scored.
Valley has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a nice bump to their 17-4-2 record this season. As for Cordova, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-5-3.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Valley will take on Natomas at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Cordova, they will be playing in front of their home fans against West Campus at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
