The Titusville Terriers will challenge the Astronaut War Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams are strolling into their matchups after big wins in their previous games.
Titusville is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Wednesday. They blew past Space Coast 16-1. Considering the Terriers have won six games by more than six runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.
Nolan Edwards made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he pitched 2.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Titusville is 4-2 when he allows at most one earned run, but 5-7 otherwise. Edwards was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in all three of his plate appearances with two runs.

In other batting news, Titusville let Jayvon Morris and Ethan Lynskey run wild. Morris got on base in all three of his plate appearances with three runs, two RBI, and one double, while Lynskey got on base in all three of his plate appearances with two runs, two RBI, and one double. Morris has become a key player for Titusville: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two runs, but 5-9 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Taelon Long, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with four RBI and one run.
Titusville always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .571. The last time their OBP was this high was back in April of 2025.
Astronaut never got on the board in their matchup last Wednesday, but that sure wasn't the case in their game against Cocoa on Wednesday. They put the hurt on the Tigers with a sharp 14-6 win.
Blake Sargenti made a big impact no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing two innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit. Sargenti was even better at the plate, going 2-for-4 with one triple, one stolen base, and two RBI. That triple marked the first that he has hit this season.
In other batting news, Gavin Lynch was incredible, getting on base in all five of his plate appearances with three stolen bases, three runs, and one triple. Those three stolen bases gave him a new career-high. Nathan Edwards was another key player, going 2-for-5 with two stolen bases, two RBI, and one run.
Astronaut has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 11-8 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.3 runs over those games. As for Titusville, the win got them back to even at 9-9.
Titusville was able to grind out a solid victory over Astronaut in their previous matchup back in March, winning 6-3. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Terriers since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
