After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Intrinsic Charter School Downtown Campus, the Christian Heritage Academy Lions were happy to have found some success on Wednesday. They managed a 39-34 victory over Wolcott College Prep. This was payback for Christian Heritage Academy, who suffered a 33-28 loss the last time these two teams met.
When it comes to explaining why Wolcott College Prep lost, one person who can't be blamed is Eliana Henschel. Despite the final result, she scored 16 points along with eight steals and six rebounds. Henschel is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last four games she's played. Another player making a difference was Margot Kelley, who scored ten points.
Christian Heritage Academy's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 3-6. As for Wolcott College Prep, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-7 record this season.
Coincidentally, the pair will both be playing British International School of Chicago the next time they take the court. Wolcott College Prep will host British International School of Chicago at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, while Christian Heritage Academy will host them at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
