Pine Lake Prep waltzed into their match on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They put the hurt on the Lake Norman Charter Knights with a sharp 10-2 win. The result was nothing new for the Pride, who have now won four contests by six runs or more so far this season.
Trey Schubert made a splash no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching 3.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Furthermore, he didn't allow a single earned run, the first time he has blanked an opponent since back in April of 2024.
