The Bell Eagles will challenge the Van Nuys Wolves at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Bell is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.3 runs per game this season.
Having struggled with seven defeats in a row, Bell turned things around against South East two weeks ago. They walked away with a 6-2 win over the Jaguars.

Telly Mendoza spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned runs on five hits. She has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances.
At the plate, the team relied heavily on Audrey Martinez, who went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI. That's the most stolen bases she has posted since back in March. Leanna Casta?on also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen base of the season.
Meanwhile, two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Van Nuys walked away with it. They were the clear victors by a 19-2 margin over the Bulls on Monday. Considering the Wolves have won eight contests by more than nine runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.
ARIEL PUENTE made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. PUENTE was even better at the plate, going 2-for-3 with four stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI.
In other pitching news, Linda Avila looked comfortable as she pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits.
Back at the plate, Van Nuys let Angelina Volpe and Isabella Espinoza run wild. Volpe got on base in three of her four plate appearances with four stolen bases and three runs, while Espinoza went 2-for-3 with three stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of EMILY VILLARREAL, who went 1-for-2 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base.
Van Nuys was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .560. They are 8-1 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.
Bell's record now sits at 8-13. As for Van Nuys, their record is now 11-9.
Wednesday's game might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Bell has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .436. However, it's not like Van Nuys struggles in that department as they've averaged .525. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
