After flying high against the Racine Horlick Rebels last Tuesday, the Franklin Sabers came back down to earth. Franklin fell just short of Indian Trail by a score of 50-47. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Franklin has scored all season.
It was another big night for Mj Stackhouse, who dropped a double-double on 25 points and 15 rebounds for Indian Trail. That makes it three consecutive games in which Stackhouse has scored at least a third of Indian Trail's points. Jack Zeller was another key contributor, scoring nine points.
Franklin now has a losing record at 9-10. As for Indian Trail, their victory bumped their record up to 12-10.
Franklin didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 71-69 defeat vs. Sun Prairie East on the 10th. Indian Trail will look to defend their home court on Friday against Franklin at 7:15 p.m.
