West Shore Christian Academy lost against York Country Day back in December of 2016, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. West Shore Christian Academy was just a bucket shy of victory and fell 52-51 to York Country Day.
York Country Day found their leader in underclassman Ryan Maus, who scored 27 points along with seven steals and five assists. Maus has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last six times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Isaiah White, who scored 13 points along with four steals.
West Shore Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 4-4. As for York Country Day, the win (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 9-1.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. West Shore Christian Academy won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Mount Calvary Christian at 6:00 p.m. on January 12th. Mount Calvary Christian is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 58.2 points per game. As for York Country Day, they will be playing at home against Lehigh Valley Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
