Jatevin Horn of Marengo ran for the longest rushing play in 1A Region 1 this season against Akron last week. Horn scampered for 98 yards on the play and finished with 202 on the day as his team bested the Rams.
Adding to the longest winning streak in the league this week, Marengo beat Akron 60-0. The win marks fourth in a row for the Dredrick Bell's team.
Marengo's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Panthers feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Micheal Lewis has thrown for 498 yards and 6 touchdowns this season, while Jamarkus Pritchett has 9 catches for 254 yards.
