Football Recap: Logan Mishler Key Part of Team Effort in Redhawks Win

Goshen's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Logan Mishler, who picked up 92 receiving yards and two scores. Those 92 receiving yards gave Mishler a new career-high. Another passer making a difference was Douglas Diaz, who threw for 156 yards and three touchdowns.

Goshen didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Diaz and Jack Krider. Diaz got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

When it comes to explaining why South Bend Washington lost, don't look at Elijah Young. Despite the final result, he threw for 226 yards and three TDs.

The victory got Goshen back to even at 1-1. As for South Bend Washington, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 1-1.
