The Foxcroft Academy Ponies won against the Hermon Hawks last Saturday with 57 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Thursday. Foxcroft Academy secured a 57-52 W over Hermon. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Foxcroft Academy.
Jadon Richard was his usual excellent self, scoring 25 points along with four steals. Those 25 points set a new season-high mark for him. Silas Topolski was another key contributor, scoring six points along with six steals and five rebounds.
Foxcroft Academy's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Hermon, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-3.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Foxcroft Academy will challenge Old Town at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. Old Town is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt want to keep things rolling. As for Hermon, they will head out on the road to face off against Washington Academy at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Maine (Washington Academy is ranked 39th, while Hermon is ranked 63rd).
