 Meanwhile,  after only nine  points in their last  matchup, Sparta made sure to put some  points up on the board against Lakeland Regional  on Friday. Sparta strolled past Lakeland Regional with  points to spare, taking the game  31-17.
 Roxbury's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Sparta,  the  victory also got them back to even at 1-1.
 Roxbury was dealt a bruising  49-6 defeat at the hands of Sparta when the teams last played  back in September of 2019. That  game was all but decided by halftime, at which point Roxbury was down  35-0.
