Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Jeff Davis to victory, but perhaps none more so than L'earl Conaway, who scored 11 points. Another player making a difference was Malachi Smith, who scored 11 points.
Atkinson County's loss was their third straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 0-5. As for Jeff Davis, their victory bumped their record up to 1-5.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Atkinson County is on the road again on Saturday and play against Worth County at 5:30 p.m. on December 9th. Worth County presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Atkinson County in Georgia (Worth County is ranked 73rd, while Atkinson County is ranked 500th). As for Jeff Davis, they will head out on the road to face off against Toombs County at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. Toombs County is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 69.4 points per game.
