After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Ponderosa, the Evergreen Cougars were happy to have found some success on Wednesday. They really took it to Alameda for the full four quarters, racking up a 60-23 win at home. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory Evergreen has posted yet this season.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Evergreen to victory, but perhaps none more so than Lukas McCanna, who scored 16 points along with two blocks. Rob Beldock was another key contributor, scoring seven points along with six steals.
Evergreen's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-10. As for Alameda, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-9.
Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Golden the next time they take the court. Alameda will head out to face Golden at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, while Evergreen will head out to face them at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
