The Florida Christian Patriots fell victim to the TRU Prep Academy Saints''s stalwart defense on Friday and couldn't make it onto the board. They were outmatched by the Saints on the road and fell 29-0. Having soared to a lofty 49 points in the game before, Florida Christian couldn't push the score so high this time.
Isaiah Drake threw for 31 yards on seven of 13 attempts. On the ground, Dylan Gonzalez rushed for 115 yards.
Florida Christian's defeat was their sixth straight on the road (dating back to last season), which dropped their overall record down to 3-7. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 3.0 points per game. As for TRU Prep Academy, their win bumped their record up to 2-4.
