Milford made easy work of ConVal on Friday and carried off a 39-6 win. That looming 33-point mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Milford yet.
Milford's offense came in ready to rumble, picking up 39 points in the first half. Meanwhile, ConVal couldn't get anything going offensively, leaving the score at 39-0 heading into the break. Milford were outperformed in the second half 0-6 but had enough points saved up to walk away with the win.
The victory (their 4th in a row) raised Milford's record to 6-2. ConVal's loss makes it seven in a row and drags their record down to 1-7.
It's more conference action for Milford and ConVal in their upcoming matches. Next week Milford will take on Alvirne at 7:00 PM. Alvirne took a loss in their last matchup and are no doubt out to reverse Milford's good fortune. As for ConVal, they will face off against Sanborn Regional.
