  Baleigh Tullos and  Chloe Sheppard did some serious damage despite the final result:  Tullos  scored two  runs while going 2-for-4, while  Sheppard  scored two  runs and  stole a base while going 2-for-3.
 Meanwhile, Vancleave sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with  an  8-7  win over Wayne County  on Thursday.
  Kassie Sonnier was  incredible,  going 2-for-4 with two  runs, a  triple,  and two  RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of  Carlie Osborne, who  scored a  run while going 2-for-3.
 East Central's defeat  ended  a  five-game streak of wins at home  and  dropped them to 13-3. As for Vancleave, their victory bumped their record up to 10-6.
 East Central beat Vancleave 6-2  in their previous meeting  on Tuesday. Will East Central repeat their success,  or does  Vancleave have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
