Dalton's Mario McFarren rumbled for the longest rushing play in Wayne County this season in his game against Tuslaw last week. McFarren ran for 54 yards on the play and finished with 144 on the day as his team defeated the Mustangs.
Chippewa scaled the state rankings by moving to 442 from 582 this week, the biggest jump in the league. The Chipps were able to make move up by beating Waterloo 61-13.
Dalton's offense was unstoppable this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Jack Burke threw for 138 yards and Adam Metzger had 64 yards receiving. Zaylor Rowley helped Dalton's passing attack out by catching 3 balls for 31 yards.
