Southside Christian claimed a resounding 74-45 win over Faith Baptist Christian Academy at home. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 47-17.
Southside Christian got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Calob Strickland out in front who scored 20 points. That makes it two consecutive games in which Strickland has scored at least 25% of Southside Christian's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Landon Brady , who scored 17 points.
Several Crusaders players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was John Robinson, who scored 6 points along with 10 rebounds and 3 blocks. Southside Christian has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 4-3 record this season. As for Faith Baptist Christian Academy, they have yet to win a game on the road this season, leaving them with a 8-5 record.
