Gig Harbor came tearing into Saturday's contest with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 18.8 points) and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Casa Roble Rams by a score of 55-44.

Casa Roble's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Benny Ambriz, who went 7 for 13 on his way to 18 points. Mason Pearcy was another key player, putting up seven points along with seven boards and four steals.

Gig Harbor's win bumped their record up to 7-4. As for Casa Roble, with the defeat, they broke their 11-game winning streak and moved their record to 12-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Gig Harbor will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Mount Tahoma at 7:30 p.m. on January 8, 2025. As for Casa Roble, they will venture away from home to challenge Sutter at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
