Porter's Chapel Academy have been homebodies their last two matches, but they are heading out on Friday. They will take on Park Place Christian Academy at 7:00 PM. Coming off of a loss in a game they were expected to win, Porter's Chapel Academy now face the more daunting task of proving themselves against unfavorable odds.
Things haven't been easy for Porter's Chapel Academy, and their game last Friday only extended their streak of losses to six. They suffered a grim 6-34 defeat to Glenbrook last Friday. The state rankings had actually given Porter's Chapel Academy a slight edge heading into the game, making this hurt that much more.
Meanwhile, after soaring to 40 points the game before, Park Place Christian Academy faltered in their contest last Friday. They were completely outmatched, falling 0-38 to Central Hinds Academy. Park Place Christian Academy were in a tough position by the half, with the score sitting at 0-31.
With the two teams each stumbling in off of a defeat, both will be hungry for the win. Neither squad could put together much of an offensive attack, so expect every point to count.
