Grant Lawless Dazzles in East Lincoln Victory
 Starting off the list is East Lincoln's  Grant Lawless, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Lawless threw for 226 yards and two touchdowns, and also rushed for 56 yards and a touchdown on only seven carries.
 Lawless might have his next game, a home matchup with North Iredell, circled on his calendar. Back in October of 2023 (the last time  Lawless saw the Raiders), he threw for 179 yards and three touchdowns, and also rushed for 32 yards and a touchdown.

Brady Stober and Co. Win 24th in a Row
 Hickory picked up their 24th consecutive win   on Friday thanks in part to  Brady Stober. Nobody could stop  Stober as he threw for 245 yards and four touchdowns on perfect 9-for-9 passing. He is  on a roll when it comes to  passing touchdowns, as he's  now  passed for three or more in the last four games he's  played.
 Stober and Hickory will have some time to savor their  win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Statesville at 7:30  p.m.  on November 1st. Stober will face off against  Ethan Peet, the Greyhounds' star signal caller. So who wins this QB-duel? There's only one way to know for sure.

Agee Made His Presence Known in North Lincoln's  42-7 Victory
  Landen Agee's big game helped extend North Lincoln's winning streak to three on Friday. Nobody could stop  Agee as he rushed for 77 yards and a touchdown on only six carries, and also picked up 62 receiving yards and a touchdown. His longest reception was for an impressive 62 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per catch total.
 North Lincoln pushed their record up to 7-1 with the  victory, which was their tenth straight  at home dating back to last season. They and West Iredell are set to duel  on Friday.

Jaheem Jenkins Goes Supernova in Hickory Win
 Hickory picked up their 24th consecutive win   on Friday thanks in part to  Jaheem Jenkins. Jenkins did his part (and then some), rushing for 95 yards and two touchdowns for the 'W'. Jenkins is  crushing it when it comes to  rushing touchdowns: he's   punched in at least two every time he's  taken the field this season.
 Jenkins and Hickory will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Statesville at 7:30  p.m.  on November 1st. The  contest will pit Jenkins up against  the Greyhounds' star running back  Allen Jones. Will the  match be decided in the trenches? We'll have our answer very soon.

Hickory Wins 24th-Straight Thanks to  Ellis Chappell
  Ellis Chappell was instrumental in extending Hickory's winning streak to 24 on Friday. Chappell turned in his biggest game of the season, picking up 93 receiving yards and two touchdowns, while also punching in a touchdown on the ground.
 Chappell and Hickory will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Statesville at 7:30  p.m.  on November 1st. Chappell will face off against  Dexter Rucker, the Greyhounds' star WR. With so much talent on the field, fans are surely in for an exciting game. The only thing left to see is who brings home the W.
