Volleyball Recap: Priest River Has No Trouble Against Riverside + How To Watch

Priest River barely beat Riverside the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Spartans were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Rams on Tuesday. The victory continues a trend for the Spartans in their matchups with the Rams: they've now won three in a row.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Priest River took every set by at least 14 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-7, 25-11, 25-10.

Jayda Storro was a one-woman wrecking crew as she had eight kills, seven digs, and seven aces. She has been hot, having posted two or more aces the last six times she's played. Toni Marinello was another key player, getting 11 digs and one assist.

Priest River's win bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Riverside, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Priest River has already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Newport on the 11th. As for Riverside, they will head out to take on Deer Park at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
