After two games on the road, All Saints' Academy is heading back home. They will take on the Frostproof Bulldogs at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
All Saints' Academy fought the good fight in their overtime matchup against International Community on Saturday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell to the Comets 46-41.
Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the most dominant came from Dontravious Bell, who scored 12 points along with three steals. Claudarius Bell was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with two steals.
Meanwhile, Frostproof put the finishing touches on their sixth blowout victory of the season on Monday. They really took it to Tenoroc for the full four quarters, racking up a 83-51 victory on the road. The victory was just what Frostproof needed coming off of a 111-56 loss in their prior contest.
Sevastian Rosado continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 36 points along with nine steals and eight rebounds. That makes it nine consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of Frostproof's points. Another player making a difference was Turral Berry, who scored 13 points.
All Saints' Academy's loss dropped their record down to 9-3. As for Frostproof, their victory bumped their record up to 13-5.
All Saints' Academy was taken down by Frostproof 68-41 in their previous matchup back in December of 2023. The contest was all but decided by halftime, at which point All Saints' Academy was down 40-15.
