The Brewer Patriots will take on the Madison Academy Mustangs at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.
Brewer barely beat East Limestone the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Patriots were the clear victors by a 16-5 margin over the Indians on Tuesday. The Patriots haven't had any issues with the Indians recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive victory against them.
Gracie Lawrence was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching five innings while giving up just one earned (and four unearned) runs off five hits. Lawrence was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in March.

Those three hits gave Anton a new career-high. Cheyenne Lucas was another key player, going 2-for-4 with three runs and one double.
Brewer kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as East Limestone only managed seven hits.
Meanwhile, Madison Academy entered their tilt with Mars Hill Bible on Tuesday with four consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with five. They blew past the Panthers 14-4. The result was nothing new for the Mustangs, who have now won 17 games by six runs or more so far this season.
Madison Academy pushed their record up to 24-4 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. The road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.3 runs on average over those games. As for Brewer, their win bumped their record up to 15-11-1.
Brewer couldn't quite get it done against Madison Academy when the teams last played back in February as they fell 3-0. Will the Patriots have more luck at home instead of on the road? Come back here after the game to get an analysis of the match and other softball content.
