Adding to the longest winning streak in 7A District 9 this week, East Lake beat Port Charlotte 49-15. This was the team's 13th consecutive win.
East Lake took down the Pirates 49-15 last week, the largest margin of any game. Jake Hudson threw for 207 yards and 5 touchdowns during the win.
Bob Hudson's team's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. On the ground Weston Fordham chipped in 46 yards. Artavis Scott helped East Lake's passing attack out by catching 4 balls for 36 yards.
He was 15-17 with 1 interception.
George Campbell was the best wideout in the league this week as the Eagles bested Port Charlotte. Campbell tallied 6 receptions for 132 yards. Scott helped East Lake's passing attack out by catching 4 balls for 36 yards.
East Lake's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Eagles feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Hudson has thrown for 1,332 yards and 14 touchdowns this season, while Campbell has 30 catches for 704 yards.
Seminole made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 6,305 from 6,639.
