SA Roosevelt is 0-10 against Reagan since March of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The SA Roosevelt Rough Riders will head out on the road to face off against the Reagan Rattlers at 5:00 p.m. SA Roosevelt's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for six straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.
Last Tuesday, SA Roosevelt suffered a rough 7-1 loss at the hands of Clark. SA Roosevelt was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 5-1.
Meanwhile, Reagan put the finishing touches on their seventh blowout victory of the season on Tuesday. Their defense stepped up to hand Churchill a 5-0 shutout. The high-scoring effort was just what Reagan needed considering they were shutout in their previous zero game.
They hit Churchill with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from
Ella Madrid (2),
Emilee Durante,
Brooke Borbon, and
Lila Hernandez.
SA Roosevelt has traveled a rocky road recently having lost eight of their last nine games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-11-1 record this season. As for Reagan, they pushed their record up to 10-1-1 with that victory, which was their fourth straight on the road.
SA Roosevelt suffered a grim 8-0 defeat to Reagan in their previous meeting back in March of 2023. Can SA Roosevelt avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
