Madison Plains' win was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 11-1. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.6 runs over those games. As for Southeastern Local, their loss dropped their record down to 0-10.
Southeastern Local's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Madison Plains has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .432. It's a different story for Southeastern Local, though, as they've only averaged .286. Will they be able to contain Madison Plains' hitters?
