After three games on the road, Chapel Hill is heading back home. They will take on the Riverside-Durham Pirates at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
Last Friday, Chapel Hill was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 46-42 to the Falcons.
Even though Riverside-Durham has not done well against the Hornets recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. Riverside-Durham walked away with a 55-43 win over the Hornets.
It was another big night for Jaden Butler, who dropped a double-double on ten points and ten rebounds. Another player making a difference was Mekhi Sneed, who scored 12 points along with two steals.
Chapel Hill's loss dropped their record down to 15-5. As for Riverside-Durham, their victory bumped their record up to 13-7.
Chapel Hill didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against the Pirates when the teams last played back in January, but they still walked away with a 51-46 victory.
