The Christ Our Rock Lutheran Silver Stallions fell on hard times earlier this season, but after back-to-back wins it seems like their luck might finally be changing. They strolled past Ramsey with points to spare on Monday, taking the game 51-35. Christ Our Rock Lutheran pushed the score to 45-22 by the end of the third, a deficit Ramsey cut but never quite recovered from.
Several Rams players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Olivia Carroll, who scored nine points along with two steals. Carroll continues to roll, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Kelli Cook, who scored four points along with seven rebounds.
Christ Our Rock Lutheran's victory bumped their record up to 8-16. As for Ramsey, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-15.
Christ Our Rock Lutheran will head out on the road to take on Metro-East Lutheran at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Christ Our Rock Lutheran is coming into the game with six straight victories on the road, meaning Metro-East Lutheran will have to defend against a team hungry for a win. As for Ramsey, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Bunker Hill at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Bunker Hill has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
