Joshua is a perfect 10-0 against Cleburne since March of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Owls will host the Yellowjackets at 5:30 p.m. The timing is sure in Joshua's favor as the team sits on seven straight wins at home while Cleburne has been banged up by four consecutive losses on the road.
Joshua was handed a heart-breaking two-run loss in their last game, but they sure didn't let that happen against Mansfield on Saturday. The Owls blew past the Tigers 13-3. Considering the Owls have won five matchups by more than seven runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

The team relied heavily on Landrie Durham, who went 1-for-3 with one home run, two stolen bases, and two runs. Those two stolen bases gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Shyanne Strawn, who went 2-for-3 with three RBI, one run, and one double.
They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Joshua kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Mansfield only managed four.
Meanwhile, Cleburne made easy work of Brewer on Saturday and carried off a 14-2 victory.
Gabriela Garcia was a standout: she went 3-for-4 with four RBI, two runs, and one triple. That triple marked the first that she has hit this season. Another player making a difference was Eden Treesh, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs and three RBI.
Cleburne's win bumped their record up to 8-13. As for Joshua, their victory bumped their record up to 11-3.
Tuesday's contest will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Joshua hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .357. However, it's not like Cleburne struggles in that department as they've averaged .323. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Joshua got the 'W' in their previous meeting back in April of 2025 against Cleburne by a conclusive 9-1 score. Will the Owls repeat their success, or do the Yellowjackets have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
