Carmel extended their winning streak to three games thanks to a huge performance from Trae Taylor. The Corsairs took down the Fenwick Friars 38-24 on Friday for which the team can thank Taylor, who threw for 401 yards and two TDs while completing 83.9% of his passes, and also rushed for 82 yards and one score on only 11 carries. His passing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fourth straight game with at least 401 passing yards.
Carmel's victory bumped their record up to 7-2. As for Fenwick, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-3.
