The Ursuline Academy Bears scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Sunday. They took their game on the road with ease, bagging a 72-38 victory over Maimonides. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Ursuline Academy also won the last time the pair played last Wednesday.
When it comes to explaining why Maimonides lost, one person who can't be blamed is Leah Kaplan. Despite the final result, she scored 20 points. That was a full 52.6% of Maimonides' points, marking the fifth time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Ursuline Academy's victory bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Maimonides, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-8.
Ursuline Academy will head out on the road to face off against Notre Dame Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday. Maimonides does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
