Soccer Recap: Tuesday's Victory Is Mid-Carolina's Fifth in Last Six Outings

Mid-Carolina won the last time they faced Fairfield Central and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Rebels never let the Griffins get on the board and left with a 13-0 win. Considering Mid-Carolina have won ten matches by more than three goals this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Their offense was hitting Fairfield Central from everywhere, as seven different players booted in a goal. Daniella Vazquez-Diaz led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for three goals all by herself.

Mid-Carolina has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 49 goals over those six contests. As for Fairfield Central, they are on a 12-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-12.

Mid-Carolina wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against North Central on the 24th. Hopefully Fairfield Central paid attention to the Rebels' game: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Rebels at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
