Triangle Math & Science was led to victory by Yashitha Vanamala and Leanna Nohs. Vanamala scored 16 points along with six steals, while Nohs scored 28 points along with eight steals. That's the first time this season that Vanamala scored 15 or more points. Zainab Mcelhinney was another key contributor, scoring no points along with 16 rebounds.
Triangle Math & Science has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a massive bump to their 9-5 record this season. As for Research Triangle, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-5 record this season.
