Corbyn Jakub Dazzles in Rock Port Victory
Corbyn Jakub's big game helped extend Rock Port's winning streak to seven on Friday. Jakub was dynamite, rushing for 83 yards and two touchdowns on only five carries, while also throwing for 78 yards and two touchdowns.
Mound City's probably not too fond of Jakub given he always seems to get the better of them. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Jakub saw the Panthers), he rushed for 134 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 7.4 yards per carry, and also threw for 269 yards and two touchdowns.

Holmes Posts Huge Game in 46-16 Win
Brock Holmes was instrumental in extending Rock Port's winning streak to seven on Friday. Mound City had no answer to Holmes as he rushed for 103 yards and a touchdown on only 13 carries, and also picked up 51 receiving yards and two touchdowns. Holmes got the majority of those receiving yards when he pulled down a pass and took off for a gain of 50 yards.
This season, Holmes has caught 6 touchdowns while averaging 26 receiving yards per game.

He got the majority of those rushing yards when he took off on a run that went for an incredible 52 yards.

On Friday, East Atchison [Tarkio/Fairfax] got the W thanks in part to River Dow playing the best football he has all season. Dow rushed for 70 yards and three touchdowns, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, making six total tackles (2.0 for loss) and defending a pass.
