After both having extra time off, the Chatham HomeSchool Thunder and the Grace Christian Crusaders will dust off their jerseys to  square off against  one another  at 7:00  p.m.  on Thursday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication,  both  will really light up the scoreboard.
Last Saturday, Chatham HomeSchool strolled past Durham Flight HomeSchool with  points to spare, taking the game  66-51. The  win made it back-to-back  victories for the Thunder.

  Luke Coletta continued  his habit of posting crazy stat lines,  dropping  a double-double on 26 points and ten  rebounds. He has been hot recently, having  posted eight or more  boards the last three times he's  played.  Parker Teague was another key player,  going 6 of 15  on his way to 15  points.
Meanwhile, Grace Christian entered their tilt with Cape Fear Christian Academy last Saturday with three consecutive wins  but they'll enter their next game with four. They walked away with  a   71-59  victory over the Eagles.
Grace Christian's win came from a few key players Chatham HomeSchool will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was  Nate Jones, who  went 9 for 17  on his way to 20  points and three  steals. With that strong performance,  he is now averaging an impressive 15.1 points per game. The team also got some help courtesy of  Graham Moose, who  posted nine  points in addition to six  boards and five  assists.
 Grace Christian  smashed the offensive glass and  finished the game with 16  offensive boards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Cape Fear Christian Academy only pulled down five  offensive rebounds.
 Chatham HomeSchool's win bumped their record up to 10-7. As for Grace Christian, they now  have a winning record of 6-5.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest:  Chatham HomeSchool has crashing the boards this season,  having  averaged 32.1  boards per game. However, it's not like Grace Christian struggles in that department as   they've been averaging 28.3  rebounds. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
 Chatham HomeSchool lost to Grace Christian at home  by a decisive  72-58 margin  in their previous matchup  back in December of 2023. Thankfully for Chatham HomeSchool,  Ma'Kyi Butler (who  went 10 of 16  on his way to 25 points and five  rebounds) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result? There's only one way to find out.
