Bell has gone a perfect 10-0 against Bronson recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Bulldogs will welcome the Eagles at 7:00 p.m. Bell is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.5 runs per game this season.
Bell let Hamilton County stack five runs on them in the fourth inning on Friday but luckily Bell prevailed anyway. The Bulldogs skirted past the Trojans 8-7. The Bulldogs haven't had any issues with the Trojans recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Jackson Philman was a major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching 3.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in four consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-3 with two runs. He is becoming a predictor of Bell's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is undefeated (and 3-6 when he doesn't).
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Dean Glass, who went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI. Bell is 3-1 when Glass posts two or more stolen bases, but 4-5 otherwise. Another player making a difference was RJ Leffler, who went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases and two runs.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Bronson). They never let Eastside get on the board and left with a 17-0 victory last Friday. The team's explosion at the plate also rewarded the Eagles with their most commanding win of the season.
Like Bell, Bronson also got a great game from a two-way player: Tyson Petrokowski. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out ten over four innings pitched. Petrokowski was also big at the plate, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with three RBI.
In other batting news, Cooper Howard and Everett Holder did most of the damage at the plate: Howard got on base in all four of his plate appearances with five stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI, while Holder went 1-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. Those five stolen bases gave Howard a new career-high. Braden Bower was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI.
Bronson always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .594. They are a perfect 3-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.
Bronson's win bumped their record up to 3-5. As for Bell, they now have a winning record of 7-6.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Tuesday as neither team is afraid to steal. Bell has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 4.4 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Bronson struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 8.1 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
Bell got the 'W' in their previous matchup back in February against Bronson by a conclusive 12-4 score. Do the Bulldogs have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Eagles turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
