Chavez moved up to 663 from 870 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in 5A Region III District 20. The Lobos were able to make move up by besting Nimitz 33-28.
Westbury fell to Dawson 49-6 last week, the largest margin of any game.
Westside's dynamic duo of Michael Haywood and Bobby Hartzog proved to be unstoppable against Port Arthur Memorial, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Haywood threw for 205 yards and Hartzog had 148 yards receiving. Frank Iheanacho helped Westside's passing attack out by catching 5 balls for 54 yards.

Ronnie Wesley was the best running back in the league this week. In 9 carries, he ran for 115 yards as Lamar lost to Kenny Harrison's team. Levy Whiteing also contributed to the rushing game with 36 yards on the ground.
Hartzog was the best wideout in the league this week as the Wolves fell to the Titans.
Leading 5A Region III District 20 in both passing and receiving yards, Westside's Haywood and Hartzog have proven to be a lethal combination. Haywood has thrown for 659 yards this season, while Hartzog, a 5-foot-11 receiver, has 17 catches for 426 yards. The Redskins' Wesley leads the league in rushing yards with 297.
Bellaire led the league in scoring this week by notching 40 points on Furr. Trevon Smith threw for 91 yards and ran for 11 yards in the win.
