It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but the Bloomfield Cardinals had no problem doing just that on Wednesday. They breezed by the Bulldogs on the road to the tune of 57-26. Bloomfield's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
Despite the loss, Dugger Union still got an impressive performance from Arianna Frazee, who scored seven points.
Bloomfield's victory bumped their record up to 3-21. As for Dugger Union, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 12 of their last 13 matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-19 record this season.
Bloomfield is on the road again on Friday and plays the Lakers at 7:30 p.m. on February 2nd. Shakamak presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than the Cardinals in Indiana (the Lakers are ranked 171st, while the Cardinals are ranked 345th). Dugger Union does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
