Show Low lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Sunnyslope, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Friday's contest. Show Low never let Sunnyslope get on the board and left with a 9-0 victory on Friday. Considering the Cougars have won six matchups by more than eight runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
Riley Heuett made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowed only two hits over four innings pitched. She has been consistent : she hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-3.
In other batting news, Addisyn Clark was incredible, firing off two home runs, three runs, and four RBI while going 3-for-3. Those home runs were her first of the season. Another player making a difference was Gracie Umphress, who went 1-for-2 with one home run and two RBI.
Show Low lost a few balls and finished the game with three home runs. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Sunnyslope didn't launched any home runs.

The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 16.8 runs over those games.
