The Columbus East Olympians are taking a road trip to  challenge the East Central Trojans  at 6:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Columbus East is coming into the  matchup on  a  four-game losing streak.
On Monday, Columbus East didn't have quite enough to beat New Albany and fell  3-2.
 Columbus East saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  J.D. Rotert, who  went 1-for-2 with one  run and one  double.
 The scorekeeper got an easy start  on Monday as neither East Central nor Lawrenceburg made it on the board until the sixth inning. The Trojans won by a  run and slipped past the Tigers  2-1. The Trojans haven't had any issues with the Tigers recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive  victory against them.
 Columbus East's defeat dropped their record down to 7-17. As for East Central, their win bumped their record up to 14-7.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp  on Tuesday as neither team is afraid to steal. Columbus East has been swiping bases left and right this season,  having  averaged 3  stolen bases per game. However, it's not like East Central struggles in that department as   they've been averaging  an even more impressive 2.8  stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
 Columbus East suffered a grim  8-0 defeat to East Central  in their previous matchup  back in May of 2023. Can the Olympians avenge their  loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
