Meanwhile, The Church Academy couldn't get anything going offensively, leaving the score at 36-0 heading into the break. The Capitol defense stood its ground in the third quarter, giving up 0 and all but finishing the contest.
Capitol's victory brought them up to 5-3. The Church Academy are still winless on the season and fell to 0-8.
It's more conference action for Capitol and The Church Academy in their upcoming matches. Capitol will be playing at home against Port Allen at at 7:00 PM next week. Capitol will be strutting in after a win while Port Allen will be stumbling in from a defeat. As for The Church Academy, they will go up against Northeast. Both of these teams will be looking for a pick-me-up after considerable defeats in their previous games.
