Altoona-Midway has enjoyed the comforts of home their last two games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will take on the Northeast Vikings at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.
Even though Altoona-Midway has not done well against the Indians recently (they were 0-7 in their previous seven matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. Altoona-Midway came out on top against the Indians by a score of 57-45. The win was just what Altoona-Midway needed coming off of a 70-45 loss in their prior game.
William Stackhouse continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 22 points and 15 rebounds. Stackhouse is crushing the steal category: he's posted at least two every time he's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Kieran Foster, who scored 15 points.
Meanwhile, Northeast scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They took down Jayhawk Linn 62-43. Winning may never get old, but Northeast sure is getting used to it with their third in a row.
Altoona-Midway's record now sits at 9-6. Northeast's record now sits at 6-7.
Altoona-Midway came up short against the Vikings in their previous meeting back in February of 2023, falling 57-48. Can Altoona-Midway avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
