The Ponca City Wildcats will be home for the holidays to greet the Muskogee Roughers at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
Last Friday, Ponca City might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting Broken Arrow an easy 61-37 win. While losing is never fun, Ponca City can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 380th, while Broken Arrow is ranked 102nd).
Muskogee can finally bid farewell to their three-game losing streak dating back to last season thanks to their game on Tuesday. They blew past Jenks, posting a 70-29 win on the road. The victory was just what Muskogee needed coming off of a 84-19 defeat in their prior contest.
This is the second loss in a row for Ponca City and nudges their season record down to 1-5. As for Muskogee, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 1-1.
