Lincoln put another one in the bag  on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past the Pioneer Mustangs 26-6. Considering the Lions have won three matchups by more than 19  points this season, Thursday's  blowout was nothing new.
 Lincoln's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was   Cecile Giguere, who rushed for 88 yards and a touchdown on only 12 carries. Giguere also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, picking up  a  sack and making three total tackles.  Aislin Seaton made the highlight reel by snagging an interception and taking it all the way to the house.
 Lincoln's defense was in the mix too, especially the secondary: they snagged three passes before it was all said and done. It was truly a group effort as  Olivia Fuentes-Munez,  True Henley, and  Seaton picked up one apiece.
 Lincoln's win was  their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which  pushed their record up to 6-0. As for Pioneer, their defeat  ended  a  six-game streak of wins at home  dating back to last season and  dropped them to 1-2.
 Both  teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lincoln will host James Lick  at 4:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. Lincoln's defense has only allowed 8.5  points per game  this season, so James Lick's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Pioneer, they will square off against Independence on Tuesday. Independence will be hoping to continue their four-game streak of scoring more  points each  match than the last.
