The Palm Bay Pirates will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against the Miami Stingarees at 8:00 p.m. on December 1st. Both teams come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Last Saturday, Palm Bay faced Colonial in a battle between two of the state's top teams. Palm Bay came out on top in a nail-biter against Colonial and snuck past 51-48.
It was another big night for Jaida Civil, who scored 23 points. That makes it four consecutive games in which she has scored at least 25% of Palm Bay's points. Another player making a difference was Kiara Williams, who scored 4 points along with 9 rebounds and 5 assists.
Meanwhile, Miami didn't have too much trouble with Central Florida Christian Academy at home on Saturday as they won 48-32. The win was just what Miami needed coming off of a 74-36 loss in their prior matchup.
The victory got Palm Bay back to even at 2-2. As for Miami, the victory also got them back to even at 1-1.
