After two games on the road, St. Joseph is heading back home. They will finish 2023 at home by hosting the Middletown Blue Dragons at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully St. Joseph focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 18 on Friday.
Even though Masuk scored an imposing 70 points, St. Joseph still came out on top. St. Joseph walked away with a 79-70 victory over Masuk. With that win, St. Joseph brought their scoring average up to 64 points per game.
St. Joseph's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Marko Joksovic led the charge by scoring 18 points along with seven assists. Another player making a difference was TJ Wright, who scored 20 points along with six assists.
Meanwhile, Middletown's 14-7 record from last season is now well into the rear view mirror after another tough outing. They fell 51-40 to Lewis Mills on Thursday.
St. Joseph's victory ended a three-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 1-1. As for Middletown, they now have a losing record at 1-2.
