This season hasn't been kind to the Manassas Tigers, who are still winless after their sixth contest. They were beaten by First Assembly Christian 65-24 on Saturday.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead First Assembly Christian to victory, but perhaps none more so than Danae Kennedy, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and 18 rebounds. Kennedy is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as she's now pulled down eight or more in the last seven games she's played. Another player making a difference was Georgia Ahlstrom, who scored 17 points along with three steals.
Manassas bumped their record down to 0-6 with that loss, which was their third straight on the road. As for First Assembly Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 7-10 record this season.
Manassas will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Memphis Academy of Science and Engineering at 1:00 p.m. on January 26th. As for First Assembly Christian, they will take on Mitchell at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday.
