Havelock is a perfect 10-0 against Northside - Jacksonville since September of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Rams will look to defend their home field against the Monarchs at 7:00 p.m. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Havelock comes in on three and Northside - Jacksonville on seven.
Havelock had to skate by with only a one-point margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 36-point drubbing they dealt Swansboro last Friday. The Rams claimed a resounding 50-14 win over the Pirates. Considering the Rams have won three contests by more than 28 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

This one was won in the trenches and the lion's share of the credit has to go to Jayden Howard and Lloyd Jones. With that strong performance, Howard is now averaging an impressive 101.7 rushing yards per game.
Wins are hard to come by when you can't run the rock, something Havelock proved: they limited Swansboro to a paltry -0.8 yards per carry. The team can thank Andrew WIlliams for the heroic effort on defense: he. Havelock didn't have any issues in that department, having averaged 7.3.
Havelock's defense didn't let the opposing QB, get away unscathed either: they got into the backfield for six sacks. In that department, Christopher Bispham was the leader with three. Another thorn in Swansboro's side was Semaj George, who picked up a sack, forced one fumble, and made six total tackles (2.0 for loss).
Meanwhile, Northside - Jacksonville was fully in charge on Friday, breezing past Swansboro 40-13. Considering the Monarchs have won four matchups by more than 20 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
Northside - Jacksonville's win came from a few key players Havelock will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was REGINALD GRAY, who threw for 208 yards and four touchdowns. That's the most passing touchdowns he has posted since back in August. The team also got some help courtesy of RAHLAI ANDERSON, who rushed for 117 yards and one score.
Northside - Jacksonville didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of MATTHEW SMOOT and VINCENT PETITTO. Northside - Jacksonville received some extra help from RANDAL SCOTT, whose fumble return for a touchdown made for one of the most unforgettable moments.
Northside - Jacksonville's victory bumped their record up to 8-1. As for Havelock, their win bumped their record up to 4-5.
Everything came up roses for Havelock against Northside - Jacksonville in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, as the team secured a 35-0 victory. Do the Rams have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Monarchs turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
